A students in room 115 had the privilege of participating in a ceremony of honor for those that have served in the armed services. With the help of Mrs. Yingling, the students created four banners in the style of Henri Matisse. They then worked with Nikki Robinson, from the Wick Poetry Center in Kent and created a group poem entitled Our Que Huong. Que huong is a traditional saying in Viet Nam that figuratively asks, "Where are you from?" A group of students presented their group poem on Sunday night along with a number of veterans from current and past wars. Their artwork will hang at the First Congregational Church in Tallmadge until December 7, Pearl Harbor Day.
